Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in field service, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. As an Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment and appliances, ensuring that they operate effectively and meet customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install and set up HVAC systems, appliances, and refrigeration units at customer locations.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues with installed equipment.
- Perform repairs on malfunctioning units, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Drive a company van to various job sites, transporting tools and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations within specified timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any additional customer needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to installation practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical knowledge, property maintenance, or field service roles.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and appliance repair techniques is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with installations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and technologies in the installation field.
