Summary/Objective

- Maintain production equipment and systems operating in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Functions
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on production equipment.
- Support engineering departments in implementation of machine modifications and installation/start-up of new equipment.
- Install electrical, compressed air and other utility runs for new or existing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties.
- Close PM work orders timely as assigned.
- Adjust and calibrate mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Facilities repair and maintenance.
- May specialize in specific maintenance functions.
- Strive to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Support safety, health and environmental commitments that the company makes.
- Complete 3S activities.

Required Education and Experience
- Industrial Maintenance Certification and/or three (3) years’ industrial maintenance experience and/or machine repair.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machine wiring and industrial electrical systems.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting skills
- Basic machining skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects on and around industrial equipment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be self-motivated and willing to learn new skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Five (5) years’ industrial maintenance experience and/or machine repair.
Work Environment
This job operates in an industrial plant floor environment. This role routinely uses industrial equipment and tools.

- The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and Respirator Fit Test, this is a requirement for wearing a full face and half-mask respirators. Teammates are required to be “respirator ready” at all times to meet compliance requirements for haz-mat and spill response team members.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, ideally 8-hour shifts. Must be able to work all mandatory overtime as required; this could lead to working weekday and weekend overtime.
Travel
Willing to travel for training and possible support of other locations.
