Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory movement, order fulfillment, shipping logistics, and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks while adhering to safety protocols
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order processing
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves accurately, ensuring proper placement of products for efficient retrieval
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipping, including e-commerce orders
- Support order fulfillment by selecting items efficiently and preparing shipments according to customer specifications
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate the load and unload of freight containers or trucks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all warehouse activities
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience is required; familiarity with warehouse distribution operations is preferred
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Experience working with warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and documentation
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and ensure smooth operations
