Behavior Technician
Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA

Assist BCBA with preparation of student materials

Collect, record, and maintain data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan

Maintain active, professional communication with all team members in order to provide quality support to the student

Provide guidance to teachers and staff on how they can help maintain and support the student with the treatment plans or behavior strategies

Ability to apply appropriate safety techniques utilizing CPI if a student presents as a danger to self or others

Able to accept additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
-
At least one year experience working with students with autism and ADHD in a school setting preferred

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification -or- ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire

Must be 18 yrs of age

High School diploma or equivalent/higher
- 40-hour RBT training

Proficiency with paper and pencil data collection and Microsoft Excel

Proficiency with data based decision making

Fingerprint clearance card
-
First Aid & CPR
-
CPI certified or ability to become CPI certified
GRADE D $17.36-$21.27(DOE)
6.75 hours/day
