Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy hours

- Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in food presentation
- Handle food with care, demonstrating strong knife skills and proper cooking techniques
- Contribute to catering events and special functions as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are upheld
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required
- Hands-on kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly valued
- Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Strong cooking skills, including meal preparation and food industry familiarity
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
