Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decor.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Buss tables promptly and efficiently to maintain cleanliness throughout the event.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during events.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
- Ensure that all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly after each event.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings is preferred.
- Culinary experience is a plus, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibility.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
