Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Event Logistics & Delivery Contractor to support our event setup, transportation, and delivery needs on an as-needed basis. As a key part of our team, you will ensure timely and efficient transportation of equipment, supplies, and materials to various event locations while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport event equipment, supplies, and materials using vans, or box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Execute route driving to multiple event sites, ensuring punctual arrivals and departures.
- Assist with heavy lifting, moving equipment, and setting up event spaces in accordance with safety standards.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and event staff during deliveries and pickups.
- Follow detailed delivery instructions to ensure accurate placement of items at each location.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a focus on route driving.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Warehouse experience including loading/unloading cargo, heavy lifting, moving equipment, or inventory management.
- Prior Van or small (12 / 16ft) box truck driving experience.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while maintaining safety standards.
Compensation
- Pay is per event and includes $21/hr pay
