American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Psychiatric Unit position in Boston requiring an active MA RN license and a rotating shift schedule including evenings and nights.

Inpatient psychiatric unit setting within a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
-
Rotating shift schedule combining days, evenings, and nights — approximately 50% of shifts will be evenings or nights

36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)

Every other weekend required

Every other holiday required

Charting performed in Epic
-
Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Psychiatric nursing experience preferred (any amount)

Medical/medicine nursing experience preferred (any amount)

BLS certification required — must be AHA only

IV therapy skills preferred

Phlebotomy skills preferred

2 professional references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Provide nursing care to psychiatric inpatients in a fast-paced academic hospital environment

Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos

No validated parking available at Boston location; public parking is available nearby at daily rates, and public transportation is encouraged
