Job Summary:
Civita Care Center at Newington is seeking enthusiastic and caring Dietary Aides to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing delicious meals and snacks
Keep our dining areas clean and welcoming
Help with receiving, rotating, and storing supplies and food
Maintain clean and safe food storage and work areas
Ensure equipment and supplies are in good condition
Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
Interact with our residents, their families, our staff, and the community
Handle food following safety regulations and report any issues to your supervisor
Qualifications:
Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop, and stretch
Capability to unload and stock groceries, including lifting items up to 50 lbs
Good writing and record-keeping skills, as well as the ability to follow both spoken and written instructions in English
Composure to work efficiently during emergencies
Effective communication skills with residents, staff, and family members in a professional manner
