Job Summary
Riverstone Counseling Group is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and client-centered licensed therapist to join our growing outpatient private practice. We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services in a supportive, collaborative, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples psychotherapy services.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses using DSM-5-TR and ICD-10 criteria.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy utilizing approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, or other clinically appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge summaries, within agency expectations.
- Complete documentation in TherapyNotes Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate care with physicians, schools, case managers, and other providers when clinically appropriate.
- Participate in clinical consultation and team meetings as needed.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with licensing board requirements.
QualificationsRequired
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field.
- Current unrestricted Idaho license as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Ability to successfully pass the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare criminal background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
- Ability to complete documentation within 24 hours of services provided.
Preferred
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and relationship concerns.
- EMDR training or other trauma-focused training is a plus.
- Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation.
