Healthcare Infection Control Solutions (HCICS) is a nationally recognized provider of USP compliance, infection prevention, and cleanroom support services for pharmaceutical compounding facilities. We partner with hospitals, health systems, and compounding pharmacies to deliver expert guidance in USP <797> and USP <800> compliance, cleanroom operations, advanced cleaning and disinfection, environmental monitoring, and personnel competency training.

Job Overview:
HCICS is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Account Representative to support and expand our customer base throughout the Greater Midwest region. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing long-term client partnerships, and serving as a trusted resource to healthcare professionals focused on sterile compounding and infection prevention.
The assigned territory will include Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, with opportunities to support continued growth and market expansion throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is consultative, self-motivated, and passionate about helping healthcare organizations improve compliance, operational performance, and patient safety. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic account management abilities, and the ability to independently manage a multi-state territory.
Key Responsibilities
-Account Management & Customer Success
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pharmacy directors, pharmacy managers, infection prevention teams, and environmental services (EVS) leadership.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, on-site visits, and proactive support.
- Partner with customers to identify opportunities for improving USP compliance, operational efficiency, and cleanroom performance.
- Expand existing accounts by introducing additional HCICS solutions, including:
-Environmental cleaning and disinfection programs
-Personnel competency assessments
-Environmental monitoring and surface sampling
-Cleanroom certification support
-Education and training services
-Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and develop new customer relationships throughout the Greater Midwest territory, including Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Develop strategic territory and account plans to increase market penetration and revenue growth across a multi-state region.
- Represent HCICS at healthcare, pharmacy, and industry conferences, meetings, and networking events throughout the Midwest region.
-Education & Clinical Support
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations, educational presentations, and staff in-service training sessions.
- Provide consultative guidance related to USP <797> and USP <800> best practices and compliance strategies.
- Stay current on USP standards, healthcare regulations, and industry trends to effectively support customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of outside B2B sales, healthcare sales, or account management experience.
- Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, laboratory, or healthcare distribution industries preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with pharmacists, hospital leadership, infection prevention professionals, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50–60% throughout the Greater Midwest territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, or compounding pharmacies.
- Familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and hospital procurement processes.
- Knowledge of USP <795>, USP <797>, and USP <800> standards.
- Experience delivering educational presentations, product training, or clinical in-services.
