Network Installation & Support
- Install, terminate, label, and test Cat6 and other low-voltage cabling.
- Deploy and configure switches, routers, wireless access points, PoE devices, and point-to-point wireless bridges.
- Configure IP addressing, VLANs, network equipment, firmware updates, and throughput testing.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
Video Surveillance Systems
- Install and mount IP security cameras, including dome, turret, exterior, and elevator-cab cameras.
- Install and configure video encoders and perform DVR-to-cloud migration projects.
- Configure and support Eagle Eye Networks cloud surveillance systems.
- Add, program, and test cameras, create camera layouts, and verify recording and live-stream functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve camera, network, and recording issues.
VoIP & Communications
- Install, provision, and support VoIP phone systems.
- Configure extensions, devices, and user accounts.
- Troubleshoot call quality, connectivity, and provisioning issues.
Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for business clients.
- Troubleshoot workstations, networking equipment, internet connectivity, and related technology systems.
- Document service work, configurations, and project completion details.
- Perform final testing and quality assurance on completed installations.
QualificationsRequired
- Experience with low-voltage cabling, networking, surveillance systems, VoIP systems, or IT support.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
- IP addressing
- Subnetting
- VLANs
- Switches and routers
- Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks in the field.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to client locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
Preferred
- Experience with Eagle Eye Networks.
- Experience with UniFi, Cisco, MikroTik, or similar networking platforms.
- Familiarity with hospitality or commercial environments.
- Low-voltage, networking, or security-industry certifications.
- Experience working in elevator, mechanical, or construction environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and in mechanical spaces.
- Ability to perform installation work for extended periods while standing, climbing, or crouching.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
