American Traveler is seeking an experienced IV Therapy RN for a day shift contract position requiring at least 2 years of IV/venous access experience and an active MA RN license.

Hospital-based IV Therapy unit serving patients across all age groups, including neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

All day shift positions involve rotating schedules

No floating required

EMR: Epic (charting experience required)

13-week contract

Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted

BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross and other providers are not accepted at this facility

Minimum 2 years of experience working on an IV/venous access team

Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion, ultrasound-guided IVs, and PICC line insertion required

Must be able to achieve and maintain core IV therapy competencies including CVAD dressing changes, non-tunneled CVAD removal, thrombolytic reconstitution and instillation, implanted port access/de-access, and PICC repositioning

BSN preferred

Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local candidates
