American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a large hospital setting
-
Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
-
Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am (3x12-hour shifts)

Shifts may vary based on operational needs; preferred shift will be accommodated when possible but rotation may be required
-
13-week contract

Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required

Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required; travel experience is accepted

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required

Holiday coverage required — must work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
