Premier Insurance Contracts, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Insurance Agent Contracting Manager to support the growth of our national insurance agency network. The ideal candidate will manage the contracting and onboarding process for insurance agents in the areas of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Medicare, ACA Marketplace, and Annuities.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide agents through licensing, carrier appointments, and compliance requirements. Candidates must hold a valid Texas Life and Health Insurance License as a REQUIRED requirement.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete contracting and onboarding process for insurance agents
- Assist agents with carrier appointment applications for Life, Health, Medicare, and Annuity products
- Verify insurance licenses, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Follow up with agents regarding missing documentation and contracting status
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and contracting systems
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding agent appointments and processing
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for newly contracted agents
- Provide support related to AHIP certification, Errors & Omissions coverage, AML training, and state licensing requirements
- Track contracting pipelines and report production metrics to management
- Support recruiting initiatives and help agents understand available carrier opportunities
- Coordinate with management regarding agent hierarchy, releases, and transfers
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with insurance regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
- Texas General Lines Life & Health Insurance License REQUIRED
- Experience in insurance agent contracting, onboarding, or agency support preferred
- Knowledge of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Medicare Advantage, ACA Marketplace, and Annuities
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and FMOs
- Knowledge of NIPR, carrier contracting portals, and licensing verification systems
- Previous experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or FMO environment
- Existing relationships within the insurance industry are a plus
