Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess duties is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest relations
- Hospitality or food industry background preferred; culinary experience is a bonus
