La Brasserie is seeking a passionate, hospitality-driven AM Assistant Manager to join our opening leadership team. Located in the heart of Vail Village, La Brasserie is a modern French brasserie serving lunch and dinner in a vibrant, guest-focused environment.
This role is ideal for a restaurant professional who leads by example, thrives on the dining room floor, and understands that exceptional hospitality starts with strong leadership and attention to detail.
The AM Assistant Manager plays an essential role in the daily success of the restaurant by overseeing lunch service, supporting the transition into dinner, developing team members, maintaining standards, and ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and employees.

Compensation
- $30-$35 per hour DOE
- Full-Time Management Position
- Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage laws
Responsibilities
- Lead daily lunch service and assist with early dinner operations
- Act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and create memorable guest experiences
- Supervise, coach, and develop front-of-house team members including servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and food runners
- Support hiring, onboarding, and continued training initiatives
- Uphold service standards, cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail throughout the restaurant
- Assist with reservations, guest flow, and floor management
- Handle guest concerns professionally and with urgency
- Support scheduling, employee accountability, and daily administrative tasks
- Monitor labor efficiency while maintaining excellent service standards
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, food safety, and liquor regulations
- Work closely with the General Manager, PM Assistant Manager, Beverage Director, and Culinary Team to ensure seamless execution
- Help create a positive, professional, and team-focused culture
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management, supervisor, lead server, or hospitality leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of guest service and restaurant operations
- Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and support a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Food, wine, and beverage knowledge preferred
- Experience with Toast, OpenTable, or scheduling platforms is a plus
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as business demands require
