Job Description
Summary
We are currently looking for a Right of Away Acquisition Agent. Applicant must have an active NC Real Estate Sales Agent or Brokers License
- Ability to plan and organize workloads, adjusts to changing priorities, and work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Prepare real estate documents.
- Performs basic property research for ownership and boundary information.
- Perform internal and external due diligence to ensure accuracy and completeness of land rights or to identify and bring forward deficiencies requiring curative action.
- Performs general administrative/clerical work as required, including but not limited to preparing legal documents, reports and correspondence, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents for file management, verbal and written communications with customers, customer service and related functions.
- Serve as liaison with landowner/tenant on ownership, easement rights, damage claims and access issues.
- Basic knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
- Effectively use Owner’s established policies, procedures, processes to perform work.
Required Qualifications
- Active NC Real Estate Sales Agent or Broker License
- 6-12 months Minimum Right of Way Acquisition experience
Physical Requirements
- Sitting: Remaining in the seated position for extended periods of time
- Standing: Remaining on one’s feet in an upright position at a workstation without moving about.
- Walking: Moving about on foot
- Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another usually between 10-25 lbs.
