Client is a 240 lb male who uses a wheelchair and requires hands-on assistance with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs). We are seeking experienced, dependable caregivers who are comfortable with physically demanding cases and providing long-term care support. Must be comfortable using the Sara Stedy Sit to Stand.
Schedule:
- Monday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday–Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Day and night shifts available.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional caregiving experience.
- Active CNA license or HHA certification.
- Required CEUs: 1 Hour Alzheimer’s, 2 Hour Alzheimer’s, 1 Hour HIV/AIDS
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- AHCA Level 2 Background Screening (Social Security number required).
- 3 professional references.
- Physical completed within the last 6 months stating applicant is free of communicable diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide long-term care and personal assistance.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with ADLs including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
- Transport client to appointments or outings as needed.
- Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
