Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face delivering essential medications and health products directly to our customers’ homes and Infusion Centers. Responsibilities
- Be able to store medications safely when delivering to our Infusion Suites
- Load, unload, and secure pharmacy products using manual handling techniques
- Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices and GPS technology to maximize productivity and punctuality.
- Deliver medications and health supplies directly to customers’ homes, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in every interaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and digital records of all transactions while following safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.
Requirements
- This position requires the use of the employee's own reliable vehicle to complete pharmacy deliveries. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, maintain current automobile insurance, and ensure their vehicle is in safe operating condition. Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy.
- Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly while following safe manual handling procedures. 50+ lbs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
