Job Summary:
The Lot Sweeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of parking lots. This role ensures the property remains free of debris, litter, and hazards while providing a clean and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep and clean parking lots, sidewalks, and surrounding areas.
- Pick up trash, debris, and other litter throughout the property.
- Remove leaves, dirt, or other materials from walkways and parking areas.
- Report safety hazards, property damage, or maintenance issues to management.
- Operate manual and powered sweeping equipment safely.
- Assist with basic grounds maintenance as assigned.
- Utilize company cell phone to run software and 3 party apps.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Driver's License is required.
- Good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Part time, with the ability to work 40 hours as schedule changes.
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
