The Busser / Dishwasher is a hands-on support position that helps keep both the kitchen and guest experience running smoothly. This role combines dishwashing, bussing, cleaning, restocking, and general service support.
This person should be comfortable being around guests and not afraid to approach a table, speak with guests, and clear finished plates, glasses, and other items. We want someone who can recognize when a table needs attention and confidently step in rather than waiting to be asked.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and moving efficiently throughout service.
- Return clean dishes and equipment to their proper locations.
- Regularly walk through guest areas and look for tables that need attention.
- Approach guests in a friendly, professional manner and ask to remove finished plates, glasses, or other items.
- Clear and wipe down tables promptly between and during guest visits.
- Help maintain clean and welcoming patios, tables, and common areas.
- Remove trash and recycling and replace liners as needed.
- Restock plates, utensils, napkins, and service supplies.
- Assist the kitchen and hospitality teams with cleaning, stocking, and organization.
- Complete opening and closing cleaning duties.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Jump in wherever needed during busy service, live music, and special events.
What We're Looking For

- Able to recognize when guests are finished with dishes and confidently offer to clear them.
- Someone who takes initiative and doesn't need to be told every task that needs to be done.
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to wash dishes, bus tables, clean, take out trash, restock, and help wherever needed.
- Able to stand and move for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry approximately 40–50 lbs.
- Available to work weekends, evenings, and special events as scheduled.
- Previous restaurant, kitchen, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
The Role
This is not a back-of-house-only dishwasher position. You will move between the kitchen and guest areas throughout your shift. We need someone who is comfortable walking up to a table, talking with guests, clearing dishes, cleaning up, and then jumping back into the dish area or wherever help is needed.
A great fit for this position is someone who sees a full bus tub, a table with finished plates, or a kitchen that needs help and takes initiative without waiting to be asked.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
