Job Title: Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant
Functional Group: Phlebotomy/Patient Service
Duration: 3 months (Extendable based on performance)
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm & 8 hours per day, 40 hours in a week
Requirements:
Flu Shooter/Phleb
Experience / additional details: Any unique skills needed: Phlebotomy & Med injections. EKG experience preferred, but not required.
Roles and responsibilities: Primarily Flu shots. Will support the lab with other med injections, procedures and labs in between appointments.
Any certifications or qualifications needed: MA needed, CPT preferred, but not required. Must have administered at least 10 vaccines within the past year
Candidates will need to have one of the following MA Requirements – Must be a Certified CMA or a MA with proof of completion ORCPT Requirements – Must California CPT certification (If they have this they must be okay providing vaccines)
