Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert mental health counseling and psychotherapy services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and other specific modalities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate social work principles, case management, and patient care best practices.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate medical records, progress notes, and treatment documentation.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Skills
- Expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling.
- Strong working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for diagnostic evaluation and billing purposes.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance for patient privacy protection.
- Ability to conduct intake assessments effectively using medical records review and diagnostic tools; experience with inpatient or outpatient settings preferred.
- Skilled in social work practices, case management, patient assessment, and group therapy facilitation.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles relevant to behavioral health treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring special education support; experience in hospital or clinic environments highly desirable.
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
