The Downtown Rescue Mission Thrift Store is seeking a dependable, energetic, and hardworking Retail Warehouse Processor to join our team. In this role, you will help process donations that directly support the Mission's efforts to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.
Job Responsibilities
As a Retail Warehouse Processor, you will:
- Load, unload, and organize donated merchandise.
- Sort, inspect, and prepare donations for processing and sale.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and dock area.
- Assist truck drivers with donation pickups and deliveries as needed.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient processing of donations.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to donors and customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Part-Time (up to 27 hours per week)
- Closed on Sundays

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, reach, and twist frequently.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
