Assists the parts and service department personnel by performing the following duties
Summary
Provides assistance and support to: the Parts Manager by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties:
- Delivers parts to technicians.
- Ensures Pick Tickets are checked throughout the day to pull parts for delivery
- Ensures Truck is processed daily including scanning and stocking of products
- Ensures shipping and receiving is completed daily
- Ensures all damage returns are completed as directed
- Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked
- Ensures Bin counts are completed as directed by management including labeling and cleaning of parts inventory
- Responsible for parts inventory reconciliation
- Responsible to complete inventory counts as directed by management
- Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.
- Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced.
- Dispatches delivery drivers as needed.
- Drives and operates a forklift as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- One to two years’ experience working in a vehicle parts department or warehouse preferred not required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English Language fluently
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Current & Valid U.S. Driver's License required
- Forklift Certification preferred but not required

- Will be an Open Warehouse environment, may be subject to outdoor weather conditions, subject to moderate noise levels, will be regularly exposed to near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and/ or caustic chemicals. Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions.
