Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Field Service/Shop Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment and construction machinery. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, forklifts, tractors, and other construction machinery.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety standards are met.
- Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel engine issues.
- Repair and replace components such as transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, and electrical systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment for testing purposes when necessary to verify repairs or troubleshoot operational issues.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist with fabrication tasks or assembly of machinery parts as needed to support ongoing projects or repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a heavy equipment mechanic or service technician within a dealership or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with OEM schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, welding equipment, and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as excavators or forklifts when required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Certifications in diesel mechanics or related fields are highly desirable.
- CDL Class A is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
