Job Summary
The assistant manager is responsible for assisting the Culver’s general manager in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, while also being responsible for a designated section of the restaurant. This manager, in conjunction with the GM, is responsible for ensuring that all Culver’s standards are met.
Responsibilities- Operate cash registers and manage financial transactions- Oversee shift management and ensure efficient store operations- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training- Deliver exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns- Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate records- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and inventory management- Support budgeting efforts and monitor expenses to optimize profitability
Skills- Proficiency in cash register operation and financial management- Strong ability to manage shifts effectively and lead a team- Experience in employee orientation, training, and development- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently- Familiarity with payroll processes and maintaining accurate records- Knowledge of POS systems for sales transactions and inventory control- Previous experience in a grocery store setting is advantageous- Basic understanding of budgeting principles to support financial goals
