Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Jodie Parrack State Farm, Elkins, WV
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced office environment. This position requires the candidate to obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license within 30 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
- Provide clients with assistance regarding inquiries, payment processing, billing concerns, and other office-related matters.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, shredding and document preparation.
- Support the team with various office tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
