D'avant Bakery is looking for full time kitchen staff (BOH) for all three of our locations in Palisades Park, Ridgefield, and Edgewater, NJ.
D'avant Bakery is the largest independently owned Korean bakery on the East Coast, currently operating three retail locations and preparing for brand expansion.
Summary
We are seeking kitchen staff to join our production team at D'avant Bakery. Depending on experience and store needs, you will be assigned to one of our production stations — bread, pastry, cake, or kitchen prep — and play a key role in maintaining the quality standards that define our brand.

Responsibilities (vary by assigned station)
- Bread / Pastry station: prepare doughs and fillings, proof, bake, and finish breads and pastries following our recipes and production standards.
- Cake station: bake cake sheets, prepare creams, and assist with assembly, icing, and finishing.
- Kitchen prep station: prepare ingredients and components, portioning, packaging, and labeling.
- All stations: maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstations, follow food safety and handling procedures, and support the daily production schedule.
Requirements
- Spanish speaking required.
- Prior bakery or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required — we train motivated candidates.
- From $18.00 per hour — higher starting rate offered based on relevant experience and skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is essential.
- SSN or ITIN required for employment.
