Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host and Food Runner to join our team at Coleman Public House, a popular eatery in Mount Pleasant. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Food Runner, you will be accurately taking plates to the assigned tables and checking if they need anything else.
Host Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and welcome them to our restaurant, making them feel valued and comfortable.
- Manage the flow of guests, seating them promptly and efficiently, while ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
- Handle reservations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring that all tables and chairs are tidy and sanitized.
- Help with host duties, such as managing the waiting list and seating guests as tables become available.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, contributing to a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and menu items.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Good Hygiene.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
