Responsibilities
- Perform detailed echocardiographic examinations, including transthoracic and transesophageal ultrasound procedures, to assess cardiac structure and function.
- Operate and maintain sonography equipment, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Analyze diagnostic images, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate findings clearly to the medical team for evaluation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, equipment calibration, and patient records in compliance with office policies.
- Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for purposes of the physician recommending a safe, effective treatment plan
- Maintain equipment and manage the supply inventory to ensure continued and effective operations
- Perform other ultrasound diagnostics if trained.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer with proficiency in sonography, diagnostic evaluation, and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, interventional cardiology, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining procedures to patients.
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent credential preferred, or within one year of employment.
Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
