Job description:
Morgan Street Food Hall is hiring Porters / Dishwashers to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This role supports both operations and the guest experience, so professionalism and awareness in a front-of-house setting are essential.
What Porters / Dishwashers Do:
- Wash dishes and maintain dish areas
- Bus tables and keep dining areas clean
- Maintain restroom cleanliness throughout the day
- Sweep and mop floors
- Take out trash and handle general upkeep
- Help keep the food hall clean, presentable, and guest-ready
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, focused, and self-motivated team members
- Able to stay on task and work consistently without distraction
- Understands how to behave in a front-of-house environment (professional, respectful, not disruptive)
- Works well with others and contributes to a positive atmosphere
- Takes pride in cleanliness and consistency
Physical Requirements:
- On your feet for 6–8 hours
- Able to lift 20–25 lbs
- Comfortable with walking, bending, lifting, and stairs
Schedule:
- Morning shift starts between 8:00 and 10 AM
- Most nights finish around 11:30 PM
- Fridays & Saturdays: shifts may run until 1:30 AM
- Team members must be able to complete their assigned shifts
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation (must be able to stay until shift completion)
- Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
- No experience required — we will train the right person
