Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS)

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, and Flexible Schedules)
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologists for full-time contract opportunities throughout New York City. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review patient medical history and verify examination requests.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
- Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment and report any operational concerns.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, or related field; OR
- High School Diploma/GED with successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred.
- Experience in hospital, outpatient, or diagnostic imaging settings is highly desirable.
Certifications & Licensure
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
