About the Role
We are seeking experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Engineers to join our growing team across multiple office locations in Florida and Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in designing, programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation and controls systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement BAS control strategies for HVAC and mechanical systems
- Program, configure, and commission building automation systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related BAS issues
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning activities
- Integrate third-party systems using industry-standard communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.)
- Interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
- Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
- Optimise existing control systems to improve energy efficiency and building performance
- Prepare project documentation, sequences of operation, and commissioning reports
- Provide technical support and training to customers when required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems or HVAC controls
- Experience programming and commissioning BAS platforms
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and other building automation communication protocols
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel locally to project sites
