Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and orders.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest services throughout the dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous host/host or food service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in restaurants or hotels is advantageous.
- Knowledge of serving etiquette and hospitality best practices.
