The State of New Hampshire, Liquor Commission, has a full-time vacancy for Administrative Assistant I.
Summary:
To serve as an Administrative Coordinator – Marketing, Merchandising, and Warehousing Division, develop and monitor administrative and office management procedures relative to the research, statistical compilation, and clerical needs of the Director of Marketing, Merchandising, and Warehousing while implementing all NH Liquor Commission rules and policies.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in office or business administration, executive support, or related field supporting senior management or directors.
License/Certification: None

Responsibilities:
DETAILED TASKS (AGENCY/POSITION-SPECIFIC):
Manage and coordinate the administrative operations for the Director of Marketing, Merchandising, and Warehousing, including maintaining the Director’s schedule, organizing division meetings, and distributing agenda items efficiently.
Prepare and review correspondence for the Director, including submissions and approvals from the Commissioner concerning brokers, suppliers, and internal commission personnel.
Provide timely and accurate price lists to internal commission staff, brokers, agency stores, and external partners to support advertising, distribution, and marketing initiatives.
Maintain comprehensive records of vendor and broker activity, including product details, pricing information, product listings and delistings, and sales data. Calculate annual billing for vendors and brokers based on requested data.
Serve as the liaison between the Liquor Commission and marketing agencies or contractors, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
Develop and implement research methodologies to monitor and analyze statistical data related to pricing and product information, supporting strategic decision-making for pricing and product placement.
Offer backup and clerical support to the Informational Representative and Beverage Marketing Specialist as needed.
