Searstone Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Social Worker to support the emotional, social, and transitional needs of our residents in Independent Living. This role plays a vital part in promoting independence, advocacy, and well-being within a vibrant senior living community.

Key Responsibilities
- Support new resident adjustment and ongoing psychosocial needs
- Advocate for resident rights while maintaining confidentiality
- Assess resident needs and assist with transitions between levels of care
- Provide counseling on advance care planning and aging-related concerns
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW)
- 2 Year experience minimum working with older adults or in senior living preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Long-term Care experience
- Case Management experience
