SMSI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on a large capital line-item project supporting NNSA. The work would be performed in Los Alamos, NM. The Electrical Engineer supports the systems acceptance testing for the electrical engineering discipline, working with SKM or ETAP power tools or a similar software package for transformer sizing. The Electrical Engineer will utilize the systems engineering process, providing a foundational knowledge of functional and operational requirements, design criteria, and identification and implementation of applicable codes and standards. The Electrical Engineer will support systems testing, systems acceptance, systems verification, and operational readiness.
