Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Detailer/Lot Porter, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory. This energetic position involves cleaning, detailing, and preparing vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also be responsible for managing the lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall dealership experience. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and using automated car wash systems to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and automotive buffing to restore shine and remove minor imperfections.
- Detail vehicle interiors thoroughly, including vacuuming, cleaning seats, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces for a fresh look.
- Safely operate standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles for moving cars around the lot or test drives.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness on the lot by organizing and ensuring all vehicles are presentable and free of dirt or debris.
- Use cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and other janitorial tools effectively while adhering to safe work practices.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks at the auto detailing facility and support overall lot organization efforts.
Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash operations, or auto detailing facility work is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or moving vehicles.
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and manual transmission driving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on vehicle cleanliness maintenance and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to follow safe work practices consistently while operating cleaning equipment and tools.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients with inquiries or vehicle needs confidently.
