Job Description
Lumber1 Home Center is seeking a self-starter, highly motivated individual responsible for providing accurate design, calculating estimates, and selling cabinets in our Design Center at our Col Glenn location
Qualified applicants will have:
- Experience with cabinet design and sales
- Familiarity with 2020 Design
- Field experience (measuring/installing) a plus
- Must be able to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction and architectural drawings and specifications
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Requirements:
- Meet face-to-face with customers
- Prepare detailed designs and estimates in a timely manner
- Compute cost factors when preparing estimates
- Manage and coordinate change order requests
- Manage and coordinate with installation crews
- Obtain pricing from vendors when applicable
- Communicate effectively regarding acknowledgment dates and on-time delivery and installation
- Work an occasional Saturday
