Role: Delivery Associate (DA)
Purpose: Ensure packages are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while providing excellent customer service and following all company safety standards.
Delivery Area
Delivery Associates will complete routes throughout:
- Clemson
- Anderson
- Pendleton
- Williamston
- Belton
Routes may vary based on daily business and staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to homes, retail locations, businesses, and other designated destinations.
- Follow safe driving practices at all times.
- Provide professional, high-quality customer service.
- Handle and deliver packages of various sizes safely and securely.
- Complete approximately 200–350 packages per day across 70–180 stops per route.
- Work 10-hour shifts while meeting company delivery and performance standards.
- Use delivery devices and applications to navigate routes, scan packages, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Enter and exit the delivery van frequently throughout the shift.
Scheduling Requirements
- Weekend availability is required unless otherwise approved based on business needs.
- We are currently hiring only for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts.
- Available part-time schedules are:
- Friday and Saturday
- Saturday and Sunday
- No other part-time schedule combinations are available.
- Schedule exceptions will not be permitted during the first six months of employment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be comfortable working independently and staying motivated throughout the route.
- Must be tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot delivery devices.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must maintain a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 40 pounds safely and repeatedly.
- Must be comfortable frequently getting in and out of the delivery van.
- Must pass a seven-year background check and seven-year driving record review.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, sleet, and hail.
Holiday Operations
The company operates year-round and closes only on:
- New Year’s Day
- July 4th
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Job Type: Full-time
