If you enjoy nursing and want to work part-time, this is a unique opportunity for you to consider. No weekends, holidays, or evenings. If family time is important to you and you want to work in a flexible, professional , low-drama, friendly environment, and use your nursing skills this could be the position you are looking for. We do not offer health insurance benefits.
Holland Dermatology is seeking the right candidate to fill a part-time nursing position. Two of our current RN's are reducing their scheduled days per week. As such, we need to hire another nurse to take on these days. An RN is preferred, however, LPN's will be considered. This is a rare opportunity as most small medical practices no longer hire RN's. All nine of our current nursing staff are RN's.
This will be a 2-day per week position after training has been completed. You will have a set schedule allowing you to plan life outside of work as needed. Training is 3 days per week and is likely to be completed on Mon ,Tues, and Thurs. This normally takes about 6 weeks. Because we are a small private practice, flexibility to cover co-worker vacation days, and the occasional sick day is necessary for all staff at our practice. There would be many opportunities to pick up additional hours to cover vacations. You must be able to start between 7:30 - 7:45a. You would normally be finished by 4:15p.
Previous experience in the Dermatology field is a plus because it is a very niche field. If flexibility, family friendly hours, limited lifting, low drama, a professional and friendly work environment where you are not just a number, is what you are looking for in a nursing position, we would be a good fit for you.

Starting Salary: Up to $27 (depending on qualifications)
Responsibilities include:
- assisting providers with a variety of medical procedures.
- administering injections.
- conducting patient education.
- charting within our EMR system.
- assisting the phone nurse (patient follow-up calls, patient education, pathology logs, etc.)
Necessary qualifications:
- good communication and customer service skills.
- ability to work is a fast-paced work environment.
- ability to learn a large amount of relevant dermatological terminology.

- seeking a long-term part-time position in office setting.
- previous experience with Modernizing Medicine EMR would be a plus.
- previous experience in a dermatology practice a plus.
