Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and passionate Assistant and Lead Teachers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating engaging, nurturing, and educational environments for young learners. You will support curriculum development, implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and foster a love of learning in children. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence early childhood development while working in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills.
- Lead classroom activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and active participation among children.
- Support classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Work closely with children to support their emotional well-being, behavior management, and overall development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom events.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and standardized testing procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs using methods such as Montessori or other educational philosophies.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
