Job Duties
The Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership & Policy and the Community College Leadership Program are seeking a candidate for a faculty position in the field of community college leadership.
The faculty member will teach graduate-level courses in community college leadership, serve on
dissertation committees, chair dissertation committees, advise graduate students, conduct research, provide service to the University, serve on departmental committees, and attend required program, department, school-wide, and University meetings and convocations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Competency in quantitative and qualitative research design and data analysis.
- Ideal candidates should also have a track record of, or demonstrated potential for scholarly publications and successful grant writing.
- Possess a strong commitment to social justice, experience working with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population.
- Ability to contribute to the vision and mission of the University, the School of Education and Urban Studies, and the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership & Policy.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- The successful candidate must have earned PhD or EdD in Community College Leadership (preferred), or higher education leadership from an accredited college or university, with a focus on community colleges or related field.
- Competence in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodology, preferred.
- Graduate-level teaching experience.
- Experience teaching in an online environment.
- Experience working in a community college, preferred.
