Join Our Team at Deeper Root Academy as a Preschool Teacher Assistant!
Deeper Root Academy is seeking a passionate and goal-oriented Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is Full-Time and for our Infant room. The start date is immediate, with flexible availability required to work until close of business (e.g., Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM).

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support children in their daily routines, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
- Help organize and prepare educational materials and resources for various activities.
- Observe and report on children's progress and behavior to the lead teacher.
- Engage with children to promote social skills and emotional development.

- Meet or exceed all state Child Care Licensing requirements.
- Have prior experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields.

- Exhibit high flexibility and a willingness to work within business hours.
- Model and encourage developmentally appropriate social behaviors and expectations.
- Build strong rapport with children, families, and peers.
- Possess or actively work toward completing 45 hours of DCF training.
- Be able to implement curriculum guidelines effectively.
