Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Utilize your time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours while ensuring prompt service delivery.
- Uphold all food handling protocols, including proper sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the food industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and basic math tasks related to sales and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol serving regulations, and responsible beverage service practices.
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments like nightclubs, banquet halls, or restaurants.
- Experience with catering or banquet events is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for inventory control.
