National Leader in LTL/FTL Trucking is seeking a talented Dispatcher to join their headquarters in the Westchester/LAX area! This role would be ideal for someone with an established work history in freight dispatching, knowledge of domestic freight routes, and excellent ops coordination skills.
Shifts:
Monday – Friday with every other Sunday- PM Shift 2:30 PM to 11 PM
Wednesday – Sunday- AM Shift 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the schedules of truck drivers to ensure cargo shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely manner
- Maintain contact with the fleet of truck drivers to arrange pickups and deliveries on behalf of clients
- Prioritize pickups and deliveries based on delivery times
- Enter orders and schedule in collaboration with operations agents
- Verify delivered shipments and examine shipping documents for accuracy and possible discrepancies
- Review agents’ rate, approve and notify of accessorial charges
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Cultivate strong relationships with agents and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
- Respond to queries related to pickups and deliveries, via phone and email
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Desired Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel)
- Strong LTL/FTL Dispatching Experience
- Freight Forwarding Experience
- Bilingual - English and Spanish is a PLUS
