Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a keen interest in the grocery store environment.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with their inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Process transactions accurately using the point of sale system
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a grocery store setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Knowledge of store management, supervising, and leadership principles
- Familiarity with payroll processes and negotiation techniques
- Experience in team management and stock maintenance is a plus
