American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology/Endovascular RN requiring IR or Cath Lab experience and a compact or NJ RN license for a hospital operating room setting.

Work in the Operating Room department performing Interventional Radiology and Endovascular procedures
-
Care for critically ill medical and surgical patients undergoing invasive procedures under Fluoroscopy and general X-ray modalities
-
AM shift schedule with 7a-8p hours
-
36 hours per week across 3 days per week at 12-hour shifts
-
On-call responsibilities required

Weekend rotations required
-
Floating as needed to a sister hospital nearby

EPIC EMR used for charting
-
Active NJ or compact RN license required
-
BLS and ACLS certification required
-
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
-
Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience required
-
Excellent communication and computer skills required
-
EPIC charting experience preferred
-
Assist with invasive procedures in Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical interventional specialties using aseptic techniques per AORN guidelines

Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for the IR patient population

Collaborate with the healthcare team through a Shared Governance model to promote evidence-based care

Develop and maintain competencies related to IR patient care and management
-
Function within an integrated Health Care System providing critical care nursing

Demonstrate PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, Excellence) in daily work
